What does it mean to be fearfully made? It means that each of us are put together with intention and attention to every detail. We are awesomely made and by the same Creator who painted the skies and hung the stars. This is incredibly profound to me. We each have unique talents and gifts and so much potential. And with this confidence that our God made us and blessed us with specific skills, we are free to live fearlessly.
We can live fearlessly and act boldly because we know that we’ve been made with intention and redeemed by a God who loves us enough to sacrifice His Son while we were still His enemies. This freedom in Christ is fulfilling and validating. Finding my identity in Him gives me unshakable confidence. That being said, I can still be insecure and afraid to use my voice. We all have our moments; we’re human. But that is when we should lean even more into Christ and who we are in Him. I am a child of Christ.
With this boldness, I have learned how to step into my vocation more and more every day. I feel called to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. This includes the unborn and the children and the uninformed. I will be a voice for the most vulnerable.
I don’t plan to make every post heavy or serious. There will be some fun sprinkled in, I promise! So buckle up and get ready, because this blog will be a testament to the fact that we are fearfully made and can therefore live fearlessly.
Psalm 139:14 “I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
